Tagged for Seven

I've been tagged by Barry for what is something along the lines of "7 things you might not know about me", although since we're talking about seven, I cannot help but think instead about the Morgan Freeman/Brad Pitt psycho-thriller movie "Seven". This tagging stuff can be challenge -- I really had to give this some thought! Anyway, without too much detail, here are my "seven" lists:

THE SEVEN THINGS TO DO BEFORE I DIE (not necessarily in this order)
1. Start my own business
2. Start a nonprofit, charitable enterprise
3. Along with the nonprofit, I plan on producing a DVD to explain the autoimmune response causing type 1 diabetes (see my previous post on this subject)
4. Travel to every continent except Antarctica. So far, I've done N. America & Europe, so I have a few more to go.
5. Build a summer house/cabin someplace, preferrably lakefront
6. Write a book ... I'm sensing that most of us have this one listed ... what does that say about us as bloggers?!
7. Get my Master's degree


SEVEN THINGS I CANNOT DO
1. Remember names (I usually forget within 5 minutes of being introduced)
2. Use rollerblades ... I've tried, unsuccessfully, many times
3. Remember if I've just dosed/bolused. Don't I have enough to remember?!
4. Keep a log of what I ate and dosed - I simply refuse to do it. I don't want or need a doctor or CDE to analyze that for me, I want their guidance for MY questions.
5. Read any of the countless diabetes self-help books -- few if any are worth the paper they're printed on.
6. Remain seated through many movies (few are compelling enough to keep me seated for 2 hours, I usually have to get up in order to stretch my legs)
7. Take advice I haven't asked for


SEVEN THINGS THAT I FIND ATTRACTIVE OTHERS (in no particular order)
1. Open-minded
2. Willingness to see things from another perspective
3. Curiosity
4. Intelligence
5. Attractiveness (more about poise, confidence and how a person carries themselves than their physical features)
6. Kindness for others
7. Noncomformity - I like rebels with and without a cause!
